Our story
The shop San Carlos trusts with its transmissions
We're a small shop on Arroyo Avenue that does one thing above all: get to the bottom of your transmission problem and fix it right. Customers come to us after Rudy takes the time to explain exactly what's wrong, no mystery invoices, no upsell, and they keep coming back for everything else their cars need.
Our reviews tell the story better than we can: drivers who've trusted us with their family's cars for 15 years, a Honda owner who calls Rudy the best mechanic he's ever encountered, and more than one customer who was surprised by how reasonable the bill was. We stand by our work, and when someone's stuck near closing time, we've been known to stay late to get them back on the road.
- Detailed diagnosis: the problem found the first time
- Honest, clearly explained repairs
- Fair, reasonable prices
- We stand by our work

“Rudy is a great guy, its hard to find mechanics like him. I had to get a breathalyzer out of lock out and it was already almost closing time. He stayed after hours just to help me. Thank you Rudy.”
